2024 In-Ground Garden Entrants for the Street Garden Project

 The Street Garden Project is underway and the following businesses are the In-Ground Garden entrants.

Participating businesses had the opportunity to enter two categories: Container Garden and In-Ground Garden. Each category will be evaluated by a small group of judges made up of the PRVGC and the Portland Economic Development Commission between June 23-29 to award the top two winners in each category.

In late June, Portland residents will also have the ability to vote for their favorite garden for the Portland’s Choice Award. This award takes into consideration the entire garden that the business has created - regardless of how many categories have been entered.

Voting will take place two ways: (1) online through the Portland CT Community Facebook Group or (2) for individuals who are not on social media, there will be an option to drop off a paper ballot at the Senior Center and the Portland Library.
