Portland's Street Garden Project Seeks Participants

The Street Garden Project is back for its fourth year, and the Portland River Valley Garden Club and Portland Economic Development Commission hope to see more Portland businesses join the fun this year! The project turns storefronts and street-facing properties into seasonal garden displays.

This year brings an exciting addition: a special award category celebrating the United States' 250th anniversary. 

A few dates to keep in mind:

• Sign-up deadline: May 22
• Gardens planted by: May 25 (Memorial Day weekend)
• Public voting for the Portland's Choice Award: June 22–28
• Garden club judging: June 22–28
